The
dive shop, bodega, and the entry building that houses the office and
gift shop - are modeled after an actual Mayan ruin. The resort brings
together the arch of Labna, the great pyramid at Uxmal, and El Castillo
at Chichen Itza. The Mayan theme continues in eighteen air-conditioned,
beachfront guest villas, each of which features two double beds, a private
bath, and a private patio. Fourteen of the rooms look out over a white
sand beach and the ocean beyond; the other four garden-view rooms are
nestled in the trees.
They have taken the effort to preserve the native plants on the property
and added a wide variety of other tropical plantings, including a hundred
trees, so guests are ensured the fragrant, exotic experience of a tropical
landscape - from lush stands of brightly colored heliconia rostrata
hanging down like pendant lobster claws to jungle orchids unfurling
their frilly blooms up in the trees.

The Hotel is an American owned and operated diving and fishing resort.
Located 5 hours by road south of Cancun, Mexico. Nestled in palm trees
on a crescent shaped sandy beach, it has large guest rooms with a large
common room between the wings. Self contained it has 110 volt 60 Hz
power, purified water, private baths with plenty of hot water, spacious
rooms with ceiling fans and porch. The common room has satellite T.V.,
video, stereo, phone, fax, purified ice, dining tables, games and books.
